Welcome to Cornerstone Achievement Center, a Christian private school that serves special needs high school and young adult ages. Our dedicated team is committed to providing a supportive and enriching environment for our students.
Technology and Learning
Cornerstone Achievement Center has been blessed by generous grants that have allowed us to invest in technology that gives our students the ability to engage with our curriculum at a maximum level.
We utilize BoxLight technology which brings the lessons to the big screen and allows the students to be hands-on throughout the activity. The BoxLight allows for all levels of mobility and can transform into a tabletop that students can gather around.
Each student has an iPad that gives the same access as the BoxLight, but at an individual level. The curriculum that we have invested in is digitally interactive and responsive. Of course, we can also utilize other apps that bring learning to life and allow generalization of skills across multiple environments.
Each student also has the opportunity to experience Interactive Metronome training. IM is an evidence-based training tool that is proven to improve cognition, attention, focus, memory, as well as other benefits.
